MZ Design Consultancy was established on 19th July, 2002 and now is helmed fully by its Principal, IDr Monie Mohariff. It is a design consulting firm with more than 20 years architectural and interior design experience. We will listen closely to what you want and work within your comfort zone to make your home a beautiful expression of your personal taste.

We have a creative eye and attention to detail. We can make your indoor spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting essential and decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials. Form consultation to design development, we will make your space a dream came true!

We are also a dab hand when it comes to urban architecture. It comprises buildings made for an urban setting, specifically for large or growing cities. With nearly half of the world's population currently living in urban cities, urban architecture has become a vital and thriving field of design. We have worked with various big names such as Triterra Metropolis Sdn. Bhd., Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) and many more.

Our Process

Here is a STEP BY STEP PROCESS of how we work!
  • Consultation

    During the first consultation our qualified interior designers will assess the property, review and consult on house plans and discuss your project requirements in detail. By talking with you we will establish your individual requirements for the space, the function of the room/s, layout options, aesthetics, your must haves and your wish list.

  • Conceptual Drawing

    During the concept stage of the design process we will survey the property and produce 3D concept drawings for your project. In our showroom we will present our preliminary design proposal. The proposed design encapsulates your wants and individual requirements all ascertained in the brief.

  • Design Development

    During the Design Development Stage the design is further developed and any necessary modifications are made to the design. All drawings and specifications including finishes and fixtures are finalized.

  • Construction

    Our ID and Project Manager will be making their site visit frequently to ensure the smooth running of the project from start to finish. You can also engage us to buy loose furnishings and decorate the house. Every project is unique and we will tailor our services to suit your individual requirements.
